Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, i am a new Pentax owner and new to DSLR photography as well. I would like to say thanks to all who post in this forum as it was you who helped me see the light and become the proud new owner of a Pentax camera.

I look forward to increasing my knowledge of photography with the help of the members in this forum.

I went with the K100D, it seems to be the best unit for a beginner like myself, and the price tag didnt hurt either. So far i have been really impressed with it

Welcome!!! there is a bunch of us new guys that took the plunge when the K100D and K10D came out. I would have stayed with the point and shoot if it had not, thanks pentax for thinking about us.

my thoughts exactly. I have found this camera to be very easy to use and it produces a wonderful image with the kit lense. Hopefully I will get some shots soon that i can post and dazzle everyone with.
