Hi everyone, I've been visiting this forum for quite a while now finding info on my K-x and reading reviews for some of the lenses I've acquired for it.
So now it's time to join the discussions and hopefully learn and share some knowledge.

I bought my first SLR in the 1970's and have owned too many to count over the years, they have all given me great joy for the moments in time that they have captured.
I'm currently living in Noosa Australia, but in the past have lived in Kyoto Japan for around 20 years, and also spent many years in Europe.

Hello all
I've decided to register after almost a month of watching and reading your forum.
I'm from Romania and i'm a hobby photographer.
My camera is a Pentax Z1p, which I've used almost 10 years without any problems.
But now I want to buy to a DSLR.
Because my budget is not so good, I'm thinking to buy an used K20D.
Do you have any suggestion about this camera?

The K20D is a great camera at low ISO. I'm loving mine. I bought it to hold me over while my K-r is in the shop.

I've read the same about this camera.
I have 2 pentax lens: 70-200 PowerZoom and a 80-320, both with Autofocus.
At an event I had the opportunity to test my lens on a K-7 and a K20.
I was really surprised that K20 was the body which used the AF on both lenses.
K-7 worked only with 70-200 PowerZoom lens.
So I decided to find a K20 .
