Hello from NJ

Years ago I bought a Pentax Super Program and I went through quite a few rolls of Kodachrome. Good times, and great memories, but life kind of got in the way and I ended up having less and less time to devote to photography.

Now, I think I'm ready to get back to into photography and I'm considering picking up a K-5.

I found this site just the other day and it's really helpful to know there's a community of like-minded Pentax enthusiasts out there to look to for a bit of advice and support.

BTW, I know my old lens will work with the K-5 but can anyone tell me if my AF 280T flash will work as well?

Anyway, hello from the Garden State.

Welcome! The K-5 is a great camera, and yes, that flash will work- but only in manual mode (you will have to figure out the exposure yourself via trial and error or by using a table).
