"New" Pentax user.

Hi all,

I have been lurking these forums for over a year now as it's an invaluable resource for anything Pentax, and a good forum to discuss photography in general as well. So as I want to have a bit more active part in the community I decided to register.

I shot Pentax a bit in the manual era (together with Nikon and Canon. Basically used all cameras I could get a hand on), but when entering the digital age I went with Canon. This year I thought it was time for an upgrade so I have invested in a K-5. Really satisfied so far!

I am Swedish, but is currently living in the beautiful city of Prague in Czech Republic.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing some shots from Prague. It looks like a beautiful city (and is on my "list" so to speak of places to visit - so is Sweden for that matter - just not in Winter I see enough snow in Canada )

Yes, our Czech skulls are very popular tourist attraction and we are proud for having them.
I'm glad to welcome yet another K-5 owner in Prague. The city is literally infested with Pentaxes!

Thanks! The skulls are from a small chapel in a town two hours from Prague called Kutna Hora. More about the chapel here http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedlec_Ossuary

There are more ossuaries in the Czech republic but this one is the most famous. I enjoyed your photos from Prague and Czech republic. It is interesting to see the places I see each day with different eyes.

Likewise. I have been in Prague for 3.5 years now, and I never seem to run out of subjects.
