Salutations!

I'm just a hobby photographer playing with an assorted name brands of digital cameras for the last 5 years. Regarding the Pentax brand. I started with the *istDL, which I used for over a year before giving it to my daughter. Feeling lonely and having an itch. I picked up a *istDS2 to cure myself. Then the K10D came along and I fell in love. This is my happy story... I'm looking forward to be part of this very informative forum. Cheers...

Welcome to the forum. I also have other brands of DSLR (well... one other brand). I have a special fondness for Pentax because the K1000 was my first SLR and I absolutely loved it.

Enjoy your camera and post some pictures! Post some from your daughter too!
