NZ newbie

Happily venturing out with the silver K-5, 18-55 WR, DA 55-300, sigma 8-16 and 105 macro, O-GPS1, but mostly using the M 50mm 1.4 that came with my MX (what a beautifully sized SLR!). On the wish list - a few primes of course!

Hi Nick, from this side of the Ditch!

Glad you're enjoying your silver K-5 - some silver FA Ltds or DA Ltds would no doubt go well with it (along with lots and lots of others, of course!)

I hope you enjoy your time in the Forums.

Cheers
Rob

Yes Rob, there's some radioactive 43mm glass calling out to me even as we speak...

Nice, but extremely pricey, even for a MIJ silver version! I've been on the lookout for the very same model, but at a more reasonable price than that one.

Congrats on your superb camera. You have at the very least a couple of fine lenses already but no doubt LBA will soon have you in it's costly grip. There are also plenty of excellent older silver lenses from other manufacturers that would look equally pretty sitting on a silver K5 !

You have an amazing country to explore so the K5 should do a more than excellent job for you in capturing some of those wonderful scenes. I'm planning to be over there in February/March to visit my sister, so I'm really looking forward to exploring your country.
