Thank you. I will look at that comparisons page. I was leaning more towards the KX initially.

Welcome here.
Both the K-x and K-r are stellar entry-level cameras.
Quite similar in appearance, but the K-r has a few added features and a better performing sensor in low light/high ISO settings.
