G'day from Ballarat Australia

Hi everyone, I'm glad I found this forum for Pentax enthusiasts as we seem to be left out of most other forums.
I've been photographing for 3 years since receiveing a K200D as a Christmas present and it has been a sensational camera.
My camera came with two Sigma lenses (70-300 and 18-50) which were great - but then I discovered the other options that were available and I now have upgraded to 3 new lenses (all Sigma) - 10-20, 18-200 and the 50-500 Bigma. I love the Bigma of course but when I was travelling overseas I was advised that the 18-200 would do everything I needed and the advice was correct!
Lately I've started to photograph in RAW and do some post production work using photoshop.
I'm looking forward to sharing with and learning from everyone on this forum.

Welcome Ace! I went on an intrepid tour once and the tour guide had a Pentax with a 18-200. He said it was all he needed. I'd only just received my dslr at the time (got it especially for the big trip) so didn't really register what he was saying. Was too busy grappling with learning with the kit lens.

Look forward to seeing all your pics! And just so you know, this place is crawling with Victorians...

G'day mate and welcome.
When you find a particular niche or interest area in your photography, you may find primes giving you creative flair the superzooms aren't capable of producing - but all in good time.
