Greetings from USA

Hey all! I've been meaning to sign up for the forums for a while, but just got around to it. I'm Chip, a 21 year old student in South Carolina, USA. I enjoy photography and have been a pentax user for about two years now. I just wish I had more time to do it! (working 35 hrs a week and taking 19 hrs of classes a semester just doesn't leave much time for shoots)

Anyways, I like taking picturesof just about anything, but most of my stuff seems to revolve around automotive photography. I'll post some samples to the forum when I get home from work.

My gear is:
Pentax *ist DS
Pentax K10D (on the way)
Pentax 10-17 fisheye
tamron 28-75
Sigma 105 macro
Pentax 360 flash
bogen tripod/ballhead

I also have external flash accessories (essential for macro stuff). All my editing/processing is done on a mac (dedicated mac user here!)

Anyways I hope that I can learn more about the world of photography from everyone here, and also be able to fine tune my photographs and make them as good as they possibly can be.

Welcome to Pentax Forums.
Hope you find it pretty easy going here, yet informative and helpful. If you ever have any problems, just ask for help, you will get lots of advice.
You just gotta sort through it then to get the bit you are looking for.

You have a nice collection of gear there and ... there is always room for a mac user
