Hello!

Just got my new K-5 and so excited. Still trying to decide which lens to match this great camera. I am thinking about getting a Pentax DA 17-70mm and a sigma 70-200mm. Any advises and suggestions?

Welcome to the forum, if you go to the Lens Discussion part of the forum I'm sure you'll pick up a lot of advice on lenses.

Welcome from one newcomer to another!

I like my Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 HSM II even though I got some AF-problems. Though my type of problem seems to be one of a kind so nothing that should scare you off. It's really nice to shoot hockey with!

Thanks for your comments. I was shocked with the IQ of pictures I took using the 18-55mm WR kit lens. So maybe I can just go for the 50-200mm WR lens and save the money for some nice prime lenses.
