| Hello from South Texas
Hello all. Just got my first dslr. K-5 w/ 40mm 2.8. Really enjoying it. My wife and daughter may be getting tired of it already  . Looking forward to getting info on a really good zoom for birds/nature (in another thread). Almost went crazy comparing cameras and lenses from differant manufacturers. Finally ended up here b/c of the quality and weather sealing outdoor ability of the k-5. Regards | |

Hi TLS, Welcome to the forums! You'll learn heaps and everyone's super super friendly to boot. Where in South Texas are you from? I spent a year out west of Houston a long time ago....  | |

Ah ok. Don't think I made it Corpus Christi. Did make a few trips to Galveston though. Glad you're already getting heaps of help! | |
