Another pentaxian from Canada

Hello, i have been a pentax user all my life, my dad gave me my first pentax when i was 9 and have been shooting pentax ever since then. I worked in
photofinishing/custom lab/retail camera store for 30 years,and have used every pentax body right through the K5 and almost every lens pentax has ever made. The benefit of working in a camera store. Pentax just feels right in the hand.My dad bought his first pentax in 1961 when the camera clerk told him you can buy the Nikon outfit or if you want the best optical quality buy these new pentax's we just got in.

We opened in 1980 and our number 1 line was Pentax,i finished up with the store this year, but still carried pentax, smaller amount but yes.
Glad to be part of the pentax community

Odds are pretty good Adam, they have pretty strong B&M presence here (i walk by 4-5 shops almost daily depending on the route i take home

Welcome to the forum, I spent a summer in the Huntsville area working at Deerhurst. Nice scenery up there. I think it was Cavalcade Lab that I bought my ME Super from many years ago, which I still have!
