Another new K-5 owner

Hi all,

Finally took the DSLR plunge with a K-5 for Christmas. Can't wait for clear skies so I can hook it up to my "big lens" -- Meade 10" SCT...
In the mean time, I'm enjoying figuring out what small lenses I need to acquire by reading this site.
My 50mm F2 M from my old K-1000 will only tide me over for so long...

Welcome and congratulations on your new K-5. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine. I quite like the Tamron 17-50 as a general purpose lens.
