Welcome from France!

Hello et bonjour!

sorry for my english, french are not good in other languages...

i'm a new DSLR and Pentax user. I've got a Pentax K7 for only one month. Before i had a canon powershot sx10is.
I've got a pentax 17-70 f4, a pentax a 50mm f1.7 and a m42 smc takumar 50mm 1.4

I will soon have a Tamron 10-24,

and i'm waiting old m42 lenses : pentacon 29mm f2.8, pentacon 135 mm f2.8 and a Meyer Orestegor 200mm f4 and an old zoom 80-200 (don't know the brand, its a gift). I've bought this 4 lenses 80 euros postpaid.

What lens do you think i should find to complete this?

Bests / Cordialement

Welcome! Well, you've got a walkaround lens, a wide-angle, and a fast prime: so what you're missing is a tele zoom.

The tamron 70-200mm or sigma 70-200mm lenses come to mind:

Thank you for your advices Adam.
And thank you for the pentax forum : it's a goldmine to have informations about lenses!

I'd like to have sigma or tamron 70-200 2.8... but they are a bit exepnsive for me actually.
I will first experiment the old m42 80-200 f4 that i will receive soon...

WOW you certainly embraced LBA right out of the gate. Welcome to the forum looking forward to seeing some shots from you. Alsace is an area of France i haven't managed to get to yet.

Bienvenue, compatriote!

There are some other frogs sneaking around, so you'll feel at home here.

Well, regarding your next lens, it all depends on what you plan to shoot... A good thing to do would be to go through your sx20is shots with something like ExposurePlot.

See you!
