Very interesting!

That road and church looks very much like a place I once traveled for work(teaching in school) many years ago. I'm not exactly sure of the location(its been almost 20 years) but it was between Charlo and Petit Roché.

Am I close?

Great posts!
Love the rock in that last image btw. Great presence.

btw. how do you like your Kx?
What lenses have you gotten with it?
Have you had much time to shoot with it?
What is your favorite type of photography?

Welcome to the forum from the other coast. It's great to see your photos, and there are lots of places to post more, such as the User Galleries - Gallery - Pentax User Photo Gallery.

Thanks folks!

I have just the basic 18-55 kit lens plus some older Russian M42 optics. Hoping to pick up a 55-300 by the summer.
The best thing about the K-x is AA batteries - several sets of lithium Energizers can easily last a week of hiking off the grid.
