Home at last

This is my first day as a Pentaxian trainee - and I'd like to start with a Thank You! Thanks to this forum and it's members I've left my Nikon-years behind, to start again with the brand I started out with as a 7 year old boy. Home at last... I spent my last dime on a K-5, which hasn't even arrived yet, but I'm eager to tell you all that it feels great to share this passion for these fascinating "camera-beeings".
Greetings from a snowy Sweden,
Chrs

Thanks a lot!

And if my camera will produce pictures just 1% as good as yours I'll be very satisfied!

Ha ha - I think you are just being modest there. My best advice is to download the K5 user's manual and read it from cover to cover (highlighting those areas of particular interest) a few times before your K5 arrives.

Good luck !

Hej!
We don't live too far away from each other as I'm from Surahammar. I just upgraded to a K-5 from a (shared) K-7 myself.
Dalarna got loads of old buildings and stuff to take photos of, a bit jealous.

Hello Swede! Excuse my late answer - I´ve been busy getting lenses for my camera! Wow, it'sgood!
Well, Dalarna offers a lot of photo opportunities, but I'm sure Surahammar and it's surroundings is beautiful too.
Chrs
