And though Pentax may not be the most popular shelf product, I think its one of those that is highly regarded(even if they don't admit it) by those big brand owners. I've owner alot of gear over the years, and the K-5 has become one of the my most prized camera to date. In fact, if Pentax vanished off the face of the earth tomorrow, I think I'd buy two more K-5's just to be sure I can keep shooting for years to come. | |

Hi MrWizard, I was originally from Malaysia also, and just joined the forums here as well. Just wanted to tell you - don't listen to your friends - get the K-5.  I picked one up 3 days ago, and another friend of mine, who's new to photography, bought the same camera two days later after hearing me talk non-stop about it! | |
