I've just joined the forum and very happy to be onboard. I am a lifetime student. My first camera was a Pentax ME Super (Awesome camera and still have it!) which travelled around the world with me for 9months when I was 19 years old between school and university. Next up was a Praktica but I traded that in quickly and bought a Canon A-1 which I loved and still have. During the "kids growing up stage" I slipped into nondescript snap shots with point and shoots, but in October 2010 I bought a Sony NEX-5 to get back into the joy of photography. After that was stolen on a trip to Mozambique in July 2011 I used the opportunity to really get serious and bought a Pentax K-5 with a 43mm f1.9 Limited (AIV) which I absolutely LOVE! Build quality, colors, bokeh and IQ are all incredible! I love the 43mm so such I bought a really nice used 77mm f/1.8 (MIJ) on eBay to go with it, which is even better - just incredible. (I also bought the K-5 with the 18-55mm kit lens which I find surprisingly good for a kit lens.)
