Hey everyone! I've been a Pentax user since 2007 with the K10D. Currently rocking with a DA 40, with an old skool kit lens on the side (and sadly somehow lost an A 50mm f/1.7 from some tragic mishap). Always been enthused by the unique Pentax system and it's community, and I'm glad to finally stop lurking and to be a part of the forums.

Thinking about upgrading from the K10D to the K-5 (I'm sure I've missed out on a TON of tech), but a little hesitant seeing the product cycle of its headlining DSLR. Here's hoping this year Pentax will continue on it's hot streak!

The K-5 will be around for a while still- it's a huge step above the K10, so I wouldn't be afraid to take the plunge, especially if you can score it for $900ish.
