New to the forum...old to Pentax

I first touched a Pentax (K1000) when I was in my 20's .. I'm now over 50.. where did the time go???
next a Pentax A3000. I used both of them regularly for a few years then I purchased a used 6x7 and spent some time with it in the field, always did like nature.
I left them in the closet for a couple of years, until the ist DL came out. I never traded any in, just keep them in my closet. To make a long story short, I bought a K100 for my son, a K10 and then a K20 for myself and I have never had enough time to wear any of them out. I think it's time to retire.

Welcome! My first Pentax SLR was around 1983 so I hear ya on these stories. Never fell for the big cameras like that 6x7, but sure loved looking at others' results

I bought the K20D when I was 26, as my first DSLR. I had experience with a Minolta SLR and a few cheap SLRs. The K20D plus SMC DA 35mm Limited was the most expensive thing I have ever bought.
