Hello There

Hi my name is Drew and I am new to the forum.
I am happy to see that Pentax is still alive and well!
I currently am looking for a replacement for my k-x and cant really decide between that k-7 or k-5.
Although i think i will go with the k-7 because im a college student and cant afford the k-5 yet.
but either way i think i will be very happy with purchase and will not regret getting either.

I'd wait and save up for the K-5- it's got a much better sensor. Used you can probably find one in the $700-800 range at this point, plus you'll be able to sell your K-x to make up for some of that.
