new guy around here!

Hi there!
I'm new to this forum, but not to Pentax. I have one Pentax at the moment, my dad's good ol' MX, along with a few lenses (Pentax-M 50mm f1.4, Pentax-M 28mm f2.8, Haminex 80-200mm f4.5, Vivitar 2x teleconverter), but i'm about to buy a *istD L2 in very good used condition with a 18-55mm f3.5 lens for 200$. Anyway it's good to see other Pentax fans, as I feel a bit lonely. The only guy I know who has a Pentax is one of my friends, who bought this fall a used K100D after he asked me to give him advise.

welcome to the mob. we are seeing more than a few folks coming out of the woodwork that have classic Pentax film models. the
newer pentax lens families are easier to use than the M series, but those can be used and the digital technology has moved forward
very rapidlyl in the last 10years making for a lot of camera bodies in the last few years, but I think the spinning ball is slowing down now.
