Hello from Montreal QC

Waiting to receive my Sony Nex 5n and am eager to use it with my late father in law's Takumar lenses, which came with his old Pentax ESII. As a matter of fact, I stumbled upon this forum when I was looking for a lens retaining ring for the SMC Takumar 55mm f2.8: I remember from one of my last outings with the camera more than 10 years ago that I knocked it somehow and noticed the loss only later. Now, it is a quest!

I have a lot to learn since I never really explored the possibilities of the Pentax at the time, then changed to a Panasonic superzoom and after that used a Canon P&S. And with my daughter old enough to carry her own things and at last able to travel light, I get back my two hands when we go out...

Also, english is not my first language, so please excuse any shortcomings on my part.
