Hello

I am in the process of purchasing a Pentax K10D camera. The features on the K10D have impressed me so much I just have to have it.

Currently, I am using a Nikon D50. I really like this camera. I have an assortment of manual lenses and I enjoyed using these on the D50.

I do photography as a hobby. Nature and landscapes are my favorite subjects.

I will be asking a lot of questions about the K10D.

Thanks..I will definetly post pics..of course it will only be the good ones (lol)..

Questions...
1..are the K-mount lenses a norm for the K10D or do I need an adapter..if so, what kind?
2..eventually, I would like to get Screw mount lens..adapter?..what kind?
3..what about Bayonet lenses..will I be able to mount these on the K10D?

maybe it's the Pentax terminology of their lenses that I am confused about..any explanation or answer will be greatly appreciated...thank you all..hayward

1. Any K mount lens will mount directly on the k10d. Some will only operate in manual exposure modes, and of course, manual focus lenses are still manual focus.
2. Buy the Pentax brand adapter. Some of the others just don't work properly.
3. You cannot mount your Nikon lenses on the k10d, unfortunately.
