Hello from Boston

Hi everyone,

My name is Christian. Twenty years ago I learned photography on an all-manual 35mm SLR with K-mount lenses. I've had a non-interchangeable lens digital camera for a few years, but have been thinking lately about getting a Pentax DSLR so I can use my old lenses, to which I am unreasonably attached.

i just made the change over myself from, film to digi. I use old lenses on a K-5

I just got a K-X - my non-"A" lenses work great, the my "A" lenses don't quite screw on, even when the aperture is set to something other than "A". I compared the mounts carefully - the flanges are the same size, and I can't find any other protrusions that might cause this. Searching (both here and on the web generally) has not yielded results for me. Do you have any tips?
