Greetings from Sydney

Hi everyone,
I'm located in Sydney (for now at least) and my gear is a K20D with a SMC DA 18-250mm from the time I bought the camera secondhand. While it's a great all-round lens and good first investment (it's my first entry into DSLR), after having it all this time, i can say that the weight and barrel roll can be a disadvantage. AF speed isnt the best either which can be frustrating, but I guess I can't compare with other DA's yet. I've also found i dont use the telephoto end of the lens that often since my interest is around landscape/architecture area and lately im interested in portraits. So i've been tinkering with the thought of getting a wide angle, short zoom or primes with big apertures.
I'm sure there are quite a few here in the sydney area, I wonder if you have some sort of meetups sometimes to go out for a shoot or something?

Hello and welcme to the forums, the Sigma 10-20mm zoom is an ideal lens for architecture or landscape shot's.
