Hey Y'all

A canon user,,, Hmmm!
I adore takumar lenses however and joined here to find out more.
I am intrigued as to why the Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 varies in price from £60 - £160 in the second hand marketplace.
If you know of any existing threads covering this I'd appreciate a link as I used one from a friend and am now in the market for one of my own but fear getting duped.
Until then I'll simply go searching!
Cheers
Pete.

Welcome Aboard. There are several versions of the 50/1.4 in M42 - two SuperTaks and Two SMC versions. One of the SuperTaks is 8 element and the other is 7 elements. Prices vary based on those factors as well as condition and market.

Sorry mistyped, i'll blame it on the late hour. Meant elements. Although the SuperTaks and SMCs do have different blades too the Supers have 6 and the SMCs have 8. Sorry.
