Hello all, I've just bought a Pentax K-x body which will arrive in the next few days and I'll pick a lens or two by the weekend. I haven't really used a SLR since I was at college when I owned a K1000 and I'm looking forward to use a real camera again. I thought that the forum would be a good starting point and the wealth of information at hand has been great.

Your early experience with Pentax is similar to that of many people here. In my case (somewhat earlier than yours) it was a Pentax (a very early Spotmatic, probably) at university, in the Physics lab, that introduced me to 35mm photography. As you say, there's a wealth of experience here to draw from. Enjoy your time here.
