Newbie from Perth Australia

Hi, i just converted from a Sony a350 and dodgy second hand lenses, and what a hell of an improvement the Pentax K-5 is!

I have got some decent glass too:
Sigma 17-70 f2.8
Sigma 70-200 f.28
Also got the camera body for only $869 AUD(DWI)

So just be patient with me i might have some annoying questions

Welcome to the forums, that is a huge upgrade! Those lens will go well with the camera

Welcome mate. I've got the same lenses with a K7. Next on my wishlist is a Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro. That's the problem with this site. Start reading the lens reviews and you'll want 'em all.

Gidday mate :-). Enjoy your K-5 it really is a stunning piece of kit.

I agree with sam-joseph, this is a very dangerous place to visit if you are looking to buy more lenses - very soon you will find you have lots of lovely lenses and very little money :-). The older manual glass is fun and easy to use on the K-5 if you want to go that route, and save some dosh.
