Hi,
My first Pentax was a Spotmatic SPII which I bought while travelling in England in 1972. An MX followed in 1976 and I'm still working with it today albeit with an overhaul.
Last year I bought a used MZ-6 for quick autofocus pictures of my grandson. I find it useful but still prefer a manual/mechanical film camera.
I recently purchased a used K1000 in almost mint condition. I like the MX but sometimes like a little more weight and size in my hands.
I'm trying hard to maintain my interest in film but have slipped into digital, so far not with a Pentax. I have an Olympus E-620 Four Thirds camera which I recently purchased on clearance. The price was too good to pass up.
I inherited my grandfather's photographs and negatives dating back to 1911 and also the Kodak VPK that he carried during World War I. Scanning many of the negatives will keep me busy when retirement comes.
I'm pleased to see the activity in the forum and will likely find a good deal on a Pentax digital somewhere along the way.
