You cruel bastards. I'm going to go sit in a corner and caress my aging K10D now...
Edit:
I guess I should put some relevant info in here about myself.
I've been a Pentax user since 2000, which is when I started taking my photography hobby a bit more seriously. I started with a used nightmare of a Pentax Spotmatic SP II.
It was old, defective, and a dud. The guy that sold it to me must have know that, because when I came back after it seized up, the 90 day warranty was suddenly non existent, and the damage was supposedly my fault.
I took it to another local camera shop to try and get it repaired, and he suggested I replace it with a different used Spotmatic SP F for $300 because it was beyond economical repair. He also informed me that the camera, plus lens I bought for $175 came with a lens that on its own sold for over $400. At that point I decided to go with his recommendation, and have shopped with him ever since.
After a few years, I decided to go digital in 2007 with my K10D, and love it. I hope something like the K-3 actually comes out, so I can do more low light night photography which, unfortunately my K10D doesn't fare so well at. If it doesn't, I might have to buy a Cannon 7D (what a truly atrocious camera, overpriced, terrible interface, I hate Cannons...)
PLEASE PENTAX! Make my day!
