Hi there! I'm Ali from Texas and love my Pentax. I received my first Pentax in 2007 (k100d) and have been hooked ever since. I still have so much to learn about photography and enjoy the process! I have definitely felt the pressure to convert to one of the "big boys" (Nikon, Canon) but prefer to be unique. I have had some of those (canon,nikon) users actually ask me, "What is that thing" and "Why would you use that"? So glad to find this forum and be amongst other Pentax people!

Nice to have you here Ali, glad you found us, funny isn't it that so many other brand owners have to question your choice, and they come up so freely and without being asked to tell you about what a mistake you have made ... lol... are they questioning your choice... or their own, one wonders.
