New and enjoying this forum.

Hi everyone from beautiful Idaho.
While I'm not a professional I've been shooting with many kinds of cameras and lenses. I'm a painter (artist) by profession and I love cameras.
This can be bad when instead of concentrating on getting the best image I have got caught in the sharpest lens web and tried everything
from 35mm to large format. I have some film cameras in the closet that I'm not using now and I get them out occasionally and exercise the
the shutters. One of my favorites is my old Rolleiflex twin lens. The black and white images from this camera are great! I need to sell
the gear I don't use anymore, but hate to part with it.
I've owned several Pentax cameras including the 6x7. The transparencies from the 6x7 were wonderful to view on a light table.
They make wonderful enlargements too. The Pentax Spotmatic I had with the Takumar lenses rendered my landscape shots with
a look that was different from my other cameras.

I have a question for the tech minded out there. I saw on the forum where I can put Leica R lenses on my K10 so I ordered an adapter.
It arrived today, but when I tried to lift the flange off my 50mm Summicron it would not come off. I sure don't want to take anything else
lose or I'm afraid I'll mess up the lens and have to send it off for repairs.

Welcome!

I know nothing about lieca lenses, but I'm sure there are others here who could chime in with suggestions.

When you say the flange won't come off ... you don't mean the adapter ... right? If I had an adapter stuck on that lens I'd probably faint! Well that's a lie, I could never afford one in the first place ...
