Greetings from a former Canon fanboy

Hi all,

Have had several Canon DSLR's, but thanks to a Nikon shooting buddy of mine who introduced me to the K5 and legacy lenses, I bought one and am now a more diverse-friendly photog :-)

Good to see.
Enjoy what Pentax does well. You will know better than some that it ain't the whole story.

Hello there, welcome to the club!

Canon gives you a wider choice of modern lenses but Pentax definitely makes it easy to use old and interesting glass. I've slowly become a big fan of the old K and M series lenses, even though I have to use them in a fully manual way. I find now that I take fewer photos but like more of them.

Bonjour,

Welcome aboard ... and what type of legacy glass. I use a lot with my K-5 ... the best Pentax's that come to mind at the moment are a SMC A 50/1.7, a SMC M 75-150 f4 and a Super-Tak 55/1.8 ... plus I have some fun Soviet glass, too, among other oddities.

Allez et bon courage, John le Frog
