Hello Folks,

I am pleased to join your group. I'm a teacher, and an outdoors person. My last Pentax camera was a K1000 SE that I purchased in the early 1990's. I still have it, and several lenses that I bought for it. When the world went digital I put the K1000 away and used point-and-shoot cameras until the last one failed (a Kodak Z980). Yesterday I ordered a K-5 with the DA 18-55 WR kit lens. Weather resistance was the feature that led me to get the kit lens. I'll look forward to some informative exchanges.
