Bonjour Mireille and welcome aboard.

I envy you being able to quit your full time position to take up photography. I hope you will enjoy this site as much as everyone else here. Sometimes we can be silly but usually have fun talking photography and Pentax.

Translation: I could say that I am a Quebecer by marriage. My wife of some 42 years comes from Amos. We spent 30 days in the beautiful province this summer.

Yes, there are plenty of "québécois" here. Watch 'em come out of the woodwork.
Welcome to the bestest Pentax forum on the net - which is very obvious these days.

Me too I agree with that sentiment. I am also new to this Forum, but not to photography. Lets say it is my lifelong hobby, which started with slides, went to video and is now definitely digital and Pentax.

I like Macro, Classic cars and dogs and flowers for images.
