Pentax K-3 III Monochrome Review: Now live!

Hi,

I am a retired 67 year old who has dabbled in photography for over 50 years! First camera was a Halina 35mm and I used to buy bulk black and white film and do my own processing. Then I moved to a Werra film camera, mainly because of its Zeiss lens and corresponding sharpness. Then to an Olympus film SLR with 3 prime lenses (28/50 and 110mm). Then I went digital with a Fujifilm f6500 and finally to a Pentax K-x with the standard 18-55mm kit lens and now a couple of second hand prime lenses (Pentax 50mm f2 and Tokina SD 70-200mm).

I am now very much a point and shoot photographer but there are occasions when I go to a little trouble! I do appreciate high picture quality and am now coming to grips with Photoshop!

I have recently been following this forum and have appreciated the wealth of information present

Welcome coylum! I'm glad to have some more septuagenarians (or close, you're almost there) learning digital photography. I look forward to seeing some of your work on this forum - we can prove that age is no impediment. or, at least, need not be.
