My name is Curt. I have been a pentax user my whole life. I started when I was in the service purchasing my first pentax in Hong Kong in 1969. Great camera and I still have it. Life got in the way and it set in the closet for the next thirty years. I bought my second pentax in 2001 when I started getting into photography again after the kids were grown and gone. It was a great camera and got me started in shooting auto racing. I reluctantly went to digital and bought a ist D. I still use that camera and have had great success with it and have had many professional photographers surprised at the great photos that I get.

Well last weekend I got the old screw lenses out of storage and want to use them on my ist D. I see a couple of different adaptor rings available for the k mount and was wondering if anyone out there has done this and what they would recommend? I am anxious to get these 40 year old lens back in use.

from what many users have reported is the Pentax adapter works best and flawless and is easy to put on and take off. some of the other adapter have had some issues with how easy they can come off once they are on.
