Hello from Wisconsin...you know that frozen state up north with the cows

Hey all,
Just a relatively new Pentax user. Upgraded from the Canon Rebel T1i I had for a year or two to the Pentax K-5 a few weeks ago. Went to a Tamron event recently in Rockford IL and another Pentax guy recommended I stop by here for any advice and questions I have

I haven't done much with cameras but anything I've done can pretty much be found Here nothing crazy and nothing amazing but I try

Hi and welcome to Pentax Forums.

Wisconsin needs no introduction, its the state made famous by the 70s show.

Welcome.
Nice shots. Fine to see some Brewers shots. (Tough year so far, but things can change).
I think you will be pleasantly surprised by what PF and its members offer and what questions can be answered.
Good luck with the K-5.

Wisconsin... The home of Oshkosh... I make my pilgrimage every three years to those hallowed grounds of aviation.

Welcome to our community!

Unfortunately all the Brewers ones are with my Canon because I don't own a lens for the K-5 that goes further than 55mm lol. Eventually I'll get a telephoto but for now I don't have any of this stuff called money =[

I would also joke that I wish Wisconsin were known more for Happy Days than That 70's Show, or the line from Dogma about Wisconsin being a place worse than hell :P

I have never watched Happy Days, (and I haven't watched more than the first season of the 70s show), but the impression I got of Wisconsin was that it was a nice State. I don't much enjoy living in a busy place like Sydney, but one has to pay the bills and feed the mouths!
