Just got K5 in the mail today and couldn't be happier with the equipment. I opted out of a kit and got the 35mm f/2.4 instead. It's such a sharp and fast lens but the plastic build oh boy. This is my first dslr. I currently shoot with a Konica Autoreflex TC and Olympus E-pl1 (I have an adapter for my e-pl1 and I share the lens I have for the Konica with it.

I'm really excited about my future with my K5!

Welcome to the forums! Now you can get a PK-m43 adapter and use Pentax glass there too. Oh yeah, we'll try to push some Pentax glass on you. We'll see how long you can resist. Have fun!

I have the 40mm and it is a sweet lens.. It is easily my go to lens... and it is so small.

I am eye balling 2 lenses right now the DA*55 and the D-FA 100mm Macro WR.

I love this stuff but is so expensive... Keep your eye on the Marketplace. Everyone on here really takes good care of their stuff and you would be helping out another Pentaxian
