New K200D and Lenses

Hello from Australia, I have a new (ish) PENTAX K200D and look forward to using it.

I have been offered the gift of a Super Takumar 1:4/150 lens in superb condition.

Will this fit, or be can be made to fit my new equipment?

Bill

Welcome! That's a nice gift, you should accept it. All k-mount lenses will work on Pentax DSLR's (though some will require manual focus, stop down metering, might not work with catch-in-focus). If that lens is in m42 screw-mount, it will work great with an adapter (Pentax makes the best M42 to K adapters, but there are also cheaper knock-offs)

Edit: Is this the lens? If yes, you will need an adapter.

Using a lens like this might not give perfect results (in terms of clear, sharp images), but it can be a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Super Takumars are kind of legendary
