I have been a member for approximately a year now. This morning I tried to send a PM to a forum Seller in an effort to purchase a lens and found that I was barred from doing such until I had posted a minimum of two messages to the forum; so here is my first posting. This incident was frustrating since I have used the links from this site for purchases from BH and Adorama for this site's financial benefit; I would think this should have shown that I am not a spammer that the posting requirement is suppose to prevent.
I started membership as a owner of a Pentax K-R. I pulled the trigger this past spring for a K-5, when its price first dropped below $1000. I love the K-5 and recommend it to everyone. This place is a great source of information.
