Hello from NOVA

I'm new to the forum.
But not to photography.
I'm no pro, but I do hold an MFA in visual communication.
I've been exploring photography since high school in the 70's, starting out on my father's Kodak Retina III3c.
Later, I moved to a Pentax K1000, first an old Honeywell, with clip-on light meter. Then an internal meter K1000.
From there, I moved to a Kodak Megazoom, at a whopping 5 mp, and no image stabilization. But it was a great cam to start digital.

I moved on to a Canon G10. Another great starter.
Now I'm into a K20D. All the difference.

3 lenses so far.
Old 50mm, original from the 2nd K1000. Portraits.
Less old 28mm, with Macro, for landscapes, plants and bugs.
New 70 to 300mm for large critters. Birds and so on....
