Hello, my name is Mark, and I love my K1000.

I live in Portland, OR now, but I've been carting my old K1000 around wherever I go. I first got my K1000 as a high school student in Birmingham, AL back in '79 or '80. As as Navy man, I've traveled all over the world, and my K1000 has traveled with me. Simple and reliable, just as I've always tried to be....

They are great. My first camera was a SP500, my second a K1000. I still have it - and I daresay I've got a few years on you.
