Hello from Rhode Island

Hello everyone. Great to be here and do some serious reading. I don't own a Pentax but own most of the Takumar lenses and old Spotmatic 35mm film camera. I like to repair most of the takumar lenses and I also repair light meters.

Presently I own a Sony DSLR and most of my photos are using the takumars. I hope to purchase a new K20D as soon as they hit the market. i AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE K20D and it sounds like a great camera.

Welcome to the forum but I do have a question.

You said Hello from RI but your location is NE - I thought RI WAS a state.

Welcome. JC . New England is a region in the North East part of t he US

What an idiot I am - truth is truth - thinking New England was a state. On the other hand, Grade 8 geography was a heck of a long time ago.

Hi JC. Allot of people don't know where Rhode Island is. I guess in thinking many never herd of New England or think that its across the pond. But I did include the state name as you can see. Thank you all for the warm welcome.
