K-R images displayed on PC

Hi. I would like to take a picture and have it posted on my laptop in near real time so that I can retake the photo if neccessary. My local camera store says that I need Adobe Light Room to do this, but the instructions I have read on line for Light Room do not say this. I have been trying to display pictures from my camera on my PC but when the camera is connected to the PC I am unable to take photos. Any suggestions?
Bob

Bob, search for "tethered" which is the photo nut term for the type of shooting you are looking for. There are a number of posts on the subject in these forums.

Unfortunately Pentax cameras after the k20D do not support tethering (other than the 645D). The closest you are going to get is PKTether.
