Hello, New to this web site. After many years with a trusty Pentax Spotmatic, it has now gone to that great photo album in the sky and I now have a Optio RX18. Alas, when it starts up, it ALWAYS takes me to settings, which needs 3 presses of menu to get to shoot a pic. Does anyone know how I can get it to start up and bypass settings so i can immediately shoot pics.

Welcome to the forum, I haven't shot with any of the current P&S so I can't be much help (all my P&S cameras are film)
Should be in the manual somewhere you might try posting a separate question in the forum below
