Moving from snapshots to PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello everyone! I am a newbie in DSLR and photography. Just got myself on the track with a reputable K-5. The main reason for this move is that, apart from capturing the view I see, I want to capture the story an image can tell. Now I am getting used to familiar with the technical triangle: Shutter speed; Aperture; and ISO. Hope I will learn more from you guys.

Good to know you guys. I knew I am not alone since I found this forum. Having read a few technical books now I have seen that I am getting there slowly. Composition, Exposure, and a sense of using different lenses (including a legacy M lens, I love it.)
