Hi There!

Hello, I'm Stephanie, I'm new to all these forum websites.. I'm an aspiring photo journalist, still in high school.
I have a 35mm Pentax K1000, I've had it since my freshmen year in high school, I know how to use it for the most part.
Although I would like to venture to purchasing new lenses for it, I have the standard lens that i bought it with. I'm
very interested in portraiture, unfortunately I'm not really sure what lenses would be great for that. Which is why I've joined
Pentax Forums.

I would like to thank everyone ahead of time for any help!
Thank you!

Welcome to the forum and thank you for that interesting introduction Stephenie. Consider looking at a good Macro lens such as the Sigma 105mm F2.8 DG which not only is a great Macro lens but doubles as an excellent portrature lens. That way you get great value for your dollar output.
