Hi, my name is David Gray and I am in Boardman, Oregon. I have been shooting with Pentax SLR cameras since 1994 when I purchased a Honeywell Spotmatic with a 50mm f2, a vivitar 28mm f2.8, a Pentax Super Takumar 200mm f4. I upgraded to an ME Super in 1996 and broke the shutter release button on it in 1999 when I stepped on the cable release when I was walking (I replaced the body with two ME supers). I quit shooting around 2000 due to many factors, but picked up a digital body (K20d) in 2009 and started shooting again. Later I upgraded to the K7 and use both bodies (easier to carry two bodies than change lenses all the time). I just pulled the trigger on a K5.

I shoot wildlife, landscapes, aquarium livestock (fish, shrimp), flowers, some macro and for extra money or rather money to buy new toys I shoot portrature.

Hello from windy Wellington, New Zealand - wind is currently gusting 100 to 120 km/p/h

I am an avid photographer and use a k10d with a selection of pentax and sigma lenses and enjoy outdoor photography.

Have just order a Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 lens (the favourable reviews on this forum reinforcded my decision to go with the sigma). Looking forward to 'playing with the lens when it arrives.
